There is a downside to working at CL, though: you don’t usually leave with much to show for it, as much of what you’re working on is hush-hush.
I was lucky that my timing there aligned with a huge project that not only went public, but also uniquely suited my skillset: creation and application of a huge cast of individual Android characters. Starting from the template of the “Androidify” app (20XX),
Eventually too much for one person, Kiji, Tim L, etc.
They ended up everywhere from the Los Angeles Freeway to Times Square (and more importantly, downtown).
